Sunday looks to be beautiful and sunny!  The Central Kentucky SUP Meet-Up is hosting a 7 mile paddle on the Ohio River

WE WILL RALLY AT THE UofL BOATHOUSE, PARK VEHICLES THERE, AND SHUTTLE BOARDS UP TO CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS AND LAUNCHING FROM CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS ON THE OHIO.  BRING $10 FOR YOUR LAUNCH FEE.

We willlaunch from the boat dock at Captain's Quarters and then paddle down river to the University of Louisvile's Boathouse.  There will be some wind to contend with in the river valley and wake possibly commercial traffic (barges).

This will be an longer paddle suitable for intermediate to advanced paddlers in potentially challenging conditions.  Pace of the paddle will depend on both individual goals and river conditions.

Be sure to bring a leash and pfd.  You will also need proper footwear (sandals, vans, keens, and so on but no flip-flops).  Please dress for the elements and your comfort.
