WHAT AND WHERE IS THIS THING?
The fourth annual Totally Tubular Tube-a-Thon is set for Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at Still Waters Campground. Campground is located at 249 Strohmeier Rd, Frankfort, KY, Still Waters Campground is located in the middle of a horseshoe bend on the beautiful Elkhorn Creek. It’s an easy five-minute walk from the put-in site to the take-out point and we will also be operating shuttles between both points. You can tube as many times as you like. Put-in and take-out will be clearly marked. Our course is along a gentle two-mile stretch of the creek with no rapids. Kid friendly, but we encourage independent swimmers only on the creek and life jackets for all ages!
Check-in starts at 10 AM! Family fun tube is from 10 AM – 1 PM. Last tube, the Twilight Tube, will be at 7 p.m. Kentucky tubing conditions are typically great this time of year. There will be signs for the Tube-a-Thon at the entrance and people there to assist with parking.
Grab a campsite or just stick around post-float for the full Tube-A-Thon Festival experience. The twilight glow float and bonfire will kick off the epic evening! Food and drinks (including beer) will be available for purchase on-site — along with the gear from various awesome brands.
I ORDERED A TUBE WHEN I REGISTERED, WHEN WILL I GET THAT?
We will have tubes inflated and ready to go at check in! Tubes are then yours to keep. For those bringing their own tubes, we will have air pumps at the event to blow up your tubes. But feel free to bring them aired up if you have the car space.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A LIFEJACKET?
YES X INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!! IT’S LAW!
CAN I BRING ADULT LIBATIONS
Totally Tubular Tube-a-Thon is an inclusive event for everyone, including families, and we encourage safety and good judgment at all times while on the water and in the campground. That said, feel free to bring your own refreshing beverages to enjoy while in the campground if you’re of legal drinking age. No glass containers!
WILL THERE BE ANYTHING TO EAT?
Yes! We will have food trucks on-site with food and beverages available for purchase from roughly 10 AM to 9 PM.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?
Don’t forget to bring your own tube or paddlecraft if you chose the Tube-A-Thon festival pass only option. Also bring anything else you might need to have an awesome day on the water: sunscreen, shoes or sandals that can get wet, drinking water or other beverages, snacks, cash, dry clothes, chairs, a USCG approved life jacket is required to be onboard tube for all participants, sunglasses, hat, and towel. We love pets, but please leave them at home.

CAN I CAMP?
You bet! Still Waters is a beautiful campground tent sites and a limited amount of RV sites. Reserve a camping spot for Friday or Saturday night (You can do both as well) when purchasing tickets, bring any camping gear you’ll need to stay the night. Friday night camping check-in goes from 4-7 P.M
Saturday night check-in goes from 10 A.M - 2 P.M
Check-out time is at 11 A.M

WHAT IF WEATHER DOESN’T COOPERATE?
In the event of unsafe weather or high stream levels, we’ll send an update announcement with information via email and social media. In case of postponement due to storms or dangerous water level, makeup date will be June 22nd.
REFUNDS
The event is costly to organize and much of our costs have been absorbed prior to the day of the event. Thus we will offer a partial refund in case of postponement. If you registered and can not use your registration, it is transferable to another individual.
