 Lexington’s Lyric Theater & Cultural Arts Center, a historically black theater approached us to serve as educators for their 2017 Camp Lyric program. For 8 weeks, Gerry worked with Matt Walker of Beinthewater, Tara Littlefield Berry of Office of Kentucky State Nature Preserve, and Emily Ladouceur to coordinate a session of the camp, called Project Adventure. Students took part in environmental education and experiential activities such as mapping, leave no trace, water quality, yoga, and reducing their carbon footprint.
