Registration is now open for the 12th-Annual Bluegrass Cellular fivek Walk and Run. This family-friendly race benefiting the local community is scheduled for Saturday, August 27 at 7:30 a.m. EDT at Bluegrass Cellular headquarters, 2902 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, Ky. 

Registration for the fivek is available online at bluegrasscellular.com/5k and at each Bluegrass Cellular location. The entry fee is $20 before Saturday, August 20 and will increase to $30 the week of the race. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the fivek will be donated to high-school cross-country teams at Elizabethtown, John Hardin, Central Hardin, North Hardin Christian and North Hardin high schools and Greenspace, Inc., a nonprofit organization that maintains the walking trails in Hardin County.

Awards and door prizes will be presented after the race. Family members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
